| Gonna soak up the sun with this shiet | | |
| An uncertain start, to an ambiguous end. Lacks reason, logic, and morality. What more could one expect. My eyes are cursed, the moment the darkness encircles me, my mind flies back in time, into that time of so-called frivolity. It ended, and is accepted. No more judgements are made, no more tears shed. Two worlds, cut off, severed. A dream shattered, a hope stained. Deep remorse is the only thing that remains. The heart is returned, bandaged, thorned, and bleeding, ready to take on new adventures. Hypocritical phrases as "sorry" and "overestimation" only tears the heart further. Spare me, for I have no more ears for such blabbery. | | |
| I realized recently, that many bloggers start with the words "everyone", "lifetime", "Later on" and so forth. To me, such ideas of formulating our own future seem distant and amorphous. Surely, we all have our visions of our own lives, but how often do droplets of hope join each other to form the beautiful symphony of life. Einstein dreamed of becoming a violinist, but later stumbled upon a lifetime of scientific exploration. Bill Gates, the world's richest computer geek who was to become a lawyer. Karl Marx dreamed of becoming a lawyer, but his grades in school suffered and redirected him to a life time of devotion to philosophy. Marie Curie, Leonard Kleinrock, Donald Trump, Franklin Roosevelt, my family members in "Nanking" 1937, none of their lives turned out to be what they had envisioned, but all of them served their purpose. There is a purpose in life that we sometimes refer to as destiny. What is our destiny? Is it merely a term used as an excuse to mask us from who we really are? Or is it our own individual dreams of the future that we so stubbornly hold on to and refuse to recognize the other pathes? Or perhaps, it is only a tiny droplet of life crystalized with hope, fear and desire. There's no telling what each of us can achieve, nor if it will be the same achievements as we hope. But one thing is certain, we are going to live our lives one way or the other. How then, can we ensure we pick the right path to pursue? Some may say "listen to your heart," or "pick your favorite", but I say stick to your principles, and your path will pick you. Some will live through a life pursuing wealth, some will put up a mask of minimalism and then hypocritically pursue a life time of wealth. Some will shyly attempt to find their soul mate, some will forget the meaning of the word fidelity. Some will be ambitious, some will be ambitious enough to be selfish. And of course, there are always more paths to choose from, and whats the use of a map if you know you will get lost anyway, why not just pack up and let the road take you to what ever lies ahead. Who knows? One can only hope. | | |
| An iceberg with 90% of its mass under water, and only 10% is on the surface. The 10% may seem small and calm, while the 90% is deadly. Its not logical to disturb the iceberg, for there is a high chance of sinking the ship and ruining the lives of everyone on board. Titanic, sped across theevent horizon, and therefore it sank to the bottom of the ocean. According to legend, an event horizon is easily reached when false truth meets the knowing eye. | | |
| Worst day of the summer so far. Been so bored, and getting so frustrated with everything. Take a deep breath, this will all be over with. | | |
